Wedding under quarantine??

Hey everyone!

It has been sooo long since I have posted! Since we are all under quarantine, what better time than the present? As a makeup artist, mainly for weddings, I have had about a dozen weddings reschedule their special days. That may not sound like a lot to some, but that's only a span of 2 months.

I have been asked how I am handling all of this, honestly there really is no perfect answer. As a mom of 3, my main focus over the last 2 weeks has been the girls, getting them accustomed to the new normal, getting myself on a whole new schedule and trying not to eat all the snacks FML. But seriously, I feel awful for all the woman who have taken months and even years planning their perfect day, I can't imagine the stress that they are feeling.

So my only advice is to PAUSE. Pause that decision for 30 more seconds just to think. Think deeply, rationally. This is a high emotion situation, reach out to your vendors, vocally express your concerns before you make that ultimate decision. As a vendor, I can speak freely and say, we love you guys. We genuinely want you to have the wedding of your dreams, in a safe, happy environment. I know this is hard, I know the pressure and stress of everything is heart wrenching, I feel for all of you.
